About Us

Social Enterprise at Project HOME:

Social Enterprises at Project HOME are small businesses designed to employ residents in a supportive, skill-building environment. Each enterprise provides an opportunity for residents to access self-esteem and empowerment through an encouraging community, skill-building and earned income.

Mission:

All proceeds support us in our work to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty by providing opportunities for employment. Our products are hand made by residents or feature artwork made by residents.

Our products can also be found in store at HOME Spun Boutique, another social enterprise created at Project HOME. Our store is a high end clothing resale store at 1523 Fairmount Ave. that employs residents at Project HOME.

Project HOME's Mission:

The mission of the Project HOME community is to empower adults, children, and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, to alleviate the underlying causes of poverty, and to enable all of us to attain our fullest potential as individuals and as members of the broader society. We strive to create a safe and respectful environment where we support each other in our struggles for self-esteem, recovery, and the confidence to move toward self-actualization.
